The latest batch of my small 40 x 40 cm studies of oxidation processes.
This time I've worked a lot with copper and the various blue-green patina colors. Especially together with rusty iron, it gives a super raw expression, which is further underlined by the flaky peeling on the canvases.
It is worth noting that I actually did not use traditional color pigment on these studies: The turquoise color play has solely arisen through oxidation, which I have provoked with various (more or less aggressive) influences.
The individual paintings are of course also sealed and protected by UV varnish.
