Why buy my art?

When buying my art you're not merely buying a piece; you’re buying into the narrative of living a more authentic, grounded life. Much like when planting a tree, the best time to buy a piece was last year. The next best time is today 🤗

150 x 120 cm: mixed media on canvas.

Sold.

Commissioned and created for a renovated 1920s villa, this piece aims to bridge the gap between historical character and contemporary design. Its industrial, weathered appearance creates an interesting contrast with refined period details while its warm color palette harmonizes with the terracotta-colored living room sofa and beautiful herringbone parquet floor.

The painting has a strong vertical flow, with oxidized streaks running from top to bottom, creating a sense of gentle movement.

The darker charcoal and deep brown areas, particularly prominent at the top and edges, adds a dramatic depth. There are also subtle hints of verdigris (that slight blue-green patina) which add a little complexity and edge.
